Students on the normal MSci programme have the option of taking a 120 credit Placement Year. If the module is passed, they will graduate with a degree in “MSci Palaeontology and Geology with Placement Year”; the mark will contribute to the overall degree classification (10%). If the student fails the Placement Year they revert to the standard MSci Palaeontology and Geology. The following must be taken:
